The 74th Golden Globe awards night is an extravagant event to commemorate the best in film and American television for 2016. On August the 2nd Jimmy Fallon the host of the tonight show and the previous host for the 2010 Primetime Emmy awards was nominated to be the host of this years Golden Globes. This inevitably meant that then night was going to entertaining and amusing for all. This was the case with his opening performance which consisted of the re enactment of the opening song from ‘LALA land’. This video re enactment included a number of A-List celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, John Travolta and Mr. Robot‘s Rami Malek. However as the night went on, a number of viewers were disappointed with Fallon’s jokes and impersonations. Two of the worst impersonations stated by viewers by Fallon were said to be of Sting and Chris Rock.
The start of the awards season has brought out a colour scheme of gold, silver and metallic blush.
