Kirrily Johnston is a highly acclaimed award-winning Australian Designer and now, Creative Director behind the iconic HUSK portfolio. Husk is home to some of the world’s most desirable labels and also produces its own eponymous label.
Challenge
Create a successful re-launch of the HUSK brand to the Australian marketplace. Re-instate the positioning of Husk as a luxury destination, a curation of the finest apparel, homewares, art, jewellery and sensory.
Strategy
HUSH proposed and secured new brand advocates to be gifted HUSK pieces on a seasonal basis, in-return for regular posting of authentic content across their social media channels. This combination of high profile influencers wearing and being seen in HUSK at high profile events and media shoots which published HUSK pieces led lo the success in the marketplace.
Result
We received incredible support from the press, securing feature articles in publications including Marie Claire, The Weekend Australian Magazine, Sydney Morning Herald, Women’s Health, Harpers BAZAAR, as well as high circulating digital platforms such as Vogue, Russh and Popsugar.
We also developed key celebrity fans of the brands such as Lisa Wilkinson, Sally Obermeder, Melissa Leong, Ashley Schuberg and Em Rusicano who often attend high profile events in Husk garments.
