22 Jul Alexa Chung Announces Solo Fashion Line
If you know anything about the fashion world, you would know that Alexa Chung is the embodiment of a style icon. Over the years, this model turned entrepreneur has shown us the best of each style genre; grunge to ultimate elegance, Alexa can do no wrong!
The public will (hopefully very soon) be able to rock Chung’s style, as her first solo clothing line has just been announced. Her self-titled brand AlexaChung is expected to be released in May 2017. We still may have a while to wait until we get to see the vision of this collection, but we expect bold and iconic styles.
Chung is no stranger to the fashion design world, with previous collaborations with designers Marks and Spencer, Supergra, and AG Jeans. This solo label however is the first time Chung is venturing out into the design world on her own, and she has already secured some major retailers such as SSENSE, Matches Fashion, and Galeries Lafayette stocking her collection.
The new line by Chung has been highly speculated for quite some time within the fashion industry. As Chung tells Business of Fashion “If it had been any time sooner than this, I either wouldn’t be responsible enough or have been able to take on this kind of feat.”
If you’re wondering whether or not purchasing items from Chung’s new collection will break the bank, fear not! According to BOF, Chung’s clothing line is said to be “accessible”, however we cannot yet comment on what exactly “accessible” entails.
